The High Scope is an age appropriate skills and concepts curriculum. Teachers plan
opportunities for practice of these skills and understanding of these concepts within themes
based on interest of the children. Hands-on activities enhance growth and development in social,
emotional, physical, and cognitive areas.
Enrollment
To begin enrollment please schedule a time in which you and your child/children can visit the childcare. The enrollment of your child can be completed upon the receipt of:
Late
All children must be picked up by 6:30 PM. All late fees must be paid at time of pick up. Any child not picked up by 6:30 PM will be placed in the custody of the Detroit Police Department. Consistent late pick-ups will result in dis-enrollment. NO EXCEPTIONS
Enrollment
A non-refundable $30.00 registration fee per child is required at the time of enrollment and every September thereafter. The summer enrollment fee will only secure your space for 90 days (June to September) and no more than 30 days for enrollments prior to June or after September. If the child dis-enrolls during the year and re-enrolls at a later time, the registration fee is due upon enrollment. Temporary dis-enrollment may be arranged if your child will be unable to
attend the center for at least three (3) weeks. No child may be temporary dis-enrolled for a period of less than three (3) weeks. Upon re-enrolling, the $30.00 fee will be assess.
